The Khan Medical Clinic is designed after the Direct Primary Care Model.  This means that patients pay the practice upfront in exchange for services in lieu of third-party billers such as insurances.  This approach allows physicians and patients to be in charge of healthcare decisions by removing insurance from the doctor-patient relationship.
